  Welcome to the Central A&M Agriculture Department
 
Notebooks -  Bring a notebook for notes
                    Notes will be graded on organization, neatness, and thoroughness
                    3 hole punch everything and keep it in there in order and you will be fine!
 
Record Books - Current Introduction to Ag students will begin their record books in January and may keep it 
                     in their binder. All other students will be requires to work on their record books on every                                                    Friday.
                     Record books will be graded on the 1st of each month
 
Classroom -   At the end of class, push your stool in and straighten tables if they need it.
                    Only write on paper, not the tables.
                    If you are caught writing on the tables, you will stay after school and clean all the tables. If you choose not to                         stay after you will automatically recieve a school detention.
                    No food will be allowed in the classroom.
                    The only drink allowed will be water. If water bottles are left lying around, water privileges
                    will also be revoked.
                    Do not move out of your chair unless you have permission.
                    Do not work on other class assignments during Ag class.

Shop -   ABSOLUTELY no food or beverages are allowed in shop at all!
            Don't forget to ask permission before going into the shop. No one is to be in the shop without
            permisson 
 
Behavior - Ag students are expected to behave maturely and respectfully at all times
                If there are any problems, you will be kept after school with Mrs. Burgener
                Repeat offenses wil result in a school detention
                If you choose to not show up for a 30 minute detention with Mrs. Burgener, it will result in 
                an automatic school detention
                Any tardies without a pass are automatic school detentions
                You may not go on FFA trips if you have any in-school or out-of-school suspensions during that                                           semester
 
FFA-   Being in an ag class entitles you to join FFA. This is a privilege and an oppurtunity
         FFA allows you to practice what you are learning in Ag classes, win awards, be successful and meet lots of new                      people
 
Grades - Grades will be taken as needed, generally several times per week
             Grading scale-               100%-90%   A
                                                 89%-80%   B
                                                  79%-70%   C
                                                 69%-60%   D
                                                        -60%   F
                Late assignments are not accepted
 
Absents- If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed and make it up on time
             You have the same number of days that you were gone to make up assignments. 
 
Tardies- Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the hour, If you are not in your assigned seat when the                                     bell rings, you are considered tardy.
 
Field Trips- All school rules apply on field trips
                Problems in class can exclude you from going
